Collection of Materials Relating to the Wartime Comfort Women Issue:Goverment of Japan Survey-1999
The Government of Japan carried out research into the comfort women issue from December 1991, and disclosed the result on 6 June 1992 and 4 August 1993. The investigation was expanded outside Japan and the interviews to the persons concerned including former comfort women were implemented. Including the materials discovered afterward, over 260 items preserved in each ministries of Japan, American national archive and the others were disclosed. The Asian Women's Fund had compiled these materials and published the facsimile edition titled Collection of Materials Relating to the Wartime Comfort Women Issue: Government of Japan Survey (5 volumes, published by Ryukei-Shosha)"(Full TextPDF PDF PDF PDF PDF )
